I always love your questions, Pandy. :)

1. I love Sherlock for a lot of reasons, but I’ll try to narrow it down a bit. It’s very different from a lot of shows I’ve watched; I love crime and detective shows but rarely can they strike a balance between fun and light-hearted and serious like Sherlock can. The characters are really interesting, the dialogue clever and the writing is incredible. As a whole it’s a very strong, expertly crafted show.

2. Hmm. My favorite character so far, I think, is John Watson. You don’t learn much about him in the first three episodes and he rarely volunteers information about himself, so you’re left inferring a lot of things and trying to figure him out by how he acts around others. He doesn’t seem battle-hardened like you might expect an Army doctor to be, and that in and of itself is worth exploring. And his sense of humor is delightful. :)

3. Us having the same first name aside, I really like Molly. She’s very sweet and she isn’t afraid to get upset with Sherlock. Sherlock seems to be a bit of a bully with people, and Molly and John are among the few people who push back. I like that about her. Lestrade is a character I wish we’d see more of. The first scene of the very first episode was a good one and he came across as very in control and professional. Later, though, he’s written almost as if he’s clueless and always runs to Sherlock for help. That doesn’t fit for me.

And Mycroft? He irritates me to no end but then again, he’s supposed to. It doesn’t mean I don’t want to kick him in the shins, though. ;)

4. I think Siamese cats are beautiful, but the mixed breed/calico cats my Mom has are stunning. I’m fond of her cat Norman, who is mostly grey with both white and dark grey stripes and the greenest eyes.

5. There’s something so graceful and understated about cheetahs. And they’re stealthy!

6. I’m afraid I don’t have a favorite Pokemon because I haven’t ever seen/watched/read about them. :/

7. I’m a big fan of Sherlock’s coat and how it fits him, much in the same sense that I love John’s sweaters and jackets. They match the personalities of the characters so well.
